FIAA, the International Bus and Coach Trade Fair, which will hold its eleventh edition on 23 - 26 October 2012 , incorporates the International Media Partners programme. Through this initiative, the event organisers, headed up by IFEMA, aim to strengthen the international appeal of the Fair, which is now considered a benchmark event for the sector, and currently has 15% foreign visitor attendance.

Thanks to this proposal, collaboration agreements will be signed with leading players in the bus and coach sector all over the world for them to attend the fair. This should further increase the already important media exposure that FIAA enjoys and also lead to an increase in the number of new products displayed at the Fair, thus increasing its visibility. For participating companies it could mean exposure for them in some emerging markets given that, apart from specialist publications in consolidated countries such as Portugal, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Italy, there will also be coverage in publications in Eastern European countries and the Middle East, among others.

The FIAA International Media Partners programme will increase media attendance at the Fair, especially during the Fair's Press Day, which will be held on the opening day of 23 October, where the latest developments in the coach building industry, from leading chassis, component and technology manufacturers will be unveiled.

The enthusiasm of the event organisers to introduce initiatives that will help boost the sector demonstrates its commitment to this market and shows that the Fair, which is backed by ANETRA, ASCABUS, ASINTRA, ATUC, FENEBÚS and TU, is a made-to-measure forum that meets professionals' needs.
